First off, I would like to acknowledge you taking the first step in looking for help. Looking for help and wanting to take action are huge steps in the right direction. I am a licensed clinical social worker with over twelve years of experience providing individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy for issues ranging from anxiety, anger, stress management, depression, communication problems, trauma, and life transitions. My approach when working with clients is being open to meeting you where you are at with your life journey, collaborating with you to identify and tackle your current issues/problems, and providing feedback in order to teach you the tools to navigate your next life chapter. I see the therapeutic process as a collaborative effort with me and you both working together in order to address your life goals. My therapeutic style includes skill building, open discussion, reflection, and developing insight in order for my clients to develop effective strategies to tackle obstacles that life brings their way.
